After 24 years, changing jobs isn't easy—leaving steady routines for shifting projects. In my first year at RISE I've met uncertainty and curiosity but also the sense that I'm exactly where I belong.
Another year has passed and administration is taking over. Time for pedagogical projects has been cut. Development and IT pedagogy have been sidelined, and despite streamlining I'm near my limit.
Time to sum up the year before vacation! Did I achieve anything or am I wasted tax money? I'm pleased — despite curriculum revision, digital strategy and a new school platform I've laid a solid base.
