I am now working with a form of cultural-building digitalisation sketch for the school - guidelines for how an organization can work with everything around IT - from leadership to employees and students.
Of course, we have regulatory documents and a national digitisation strategy, and that is a good thing. But it's mostly about learning (which is not so small). However, what I lack is still a bit of Minority Report-IT, visions and goals to pursue.
What do we want IT to do for us? What problems can IT solve? Now I wish your wild thoughts, ideas and wishes. Both things that are possible today and maybe not. That's really concrete, because I'm a little stupid. Disregard obstacles like GDPR and privacy and stuff. Swarf completely free. What tasks could you avoid, or what could IT do better?
I start (maybe not so much Minority Report, but still):
Automatic sample salsbooking based on the room that has the best environment at the time of temperature and air quality
Automatic presence management (face, chip, rfid or other)
Automatic real-time transcription of what the teacher says in the classroom, simultaneously translated into different languages to those who need it
Cots that live on social media and email that can answer frequently asked questions, such as scans and retrieves information from different channels
Everything wirelessly, from network to projectors to printers/copiers on all devices
Open (to all) and centrally created video and interactive learning material with recognized skilled teachers covering all topics
Open (for all) and centrally created adaptive learning materials - in different languages
Automatically available material in the form of translations and reading of all text material, such as weekly letters and learning platforms
Automatic recording/streaming and documentation of all lessons in real time, so students who are at home (or not) can follow or learn afterwards, of course with translations and the like
... uh, come on now. What do you want to avoid doing that you think IT can fix? Who can help colleague, as a guardian as a student. Give me some tips! Write a comment here or on social media.
Many thanks for the help of inspiration!
